GENERATION 9 BEREND (BEN) FRANKLIN DE JONG>DEYOUNG AND JEAN CLENDENNING

Ben was the third child and youngest of Menne Hans (Harry’s) and Ytje (Ida’s) sons.  Ben had redish hair and a temper to go with it.  Ben was an intresting person.  After high school he moved to Minnesota to work and eventually came back to Washington.  He married Jean Clendenning.  They lived in San Francisco for a while and then moved to Tonopah, Nevada where he was the Director of Public Works.  Both Ben and Jean died in Tonopah.
