*The name of the town of origin of the departure, Doleyshire,
Marionethshire, was unable to be located by the transcriber. I question
whether or not this is Denbigh/Dinbych, (Welch)/Denbigshire which was a
former county next to Merionethshire or if it’s Dolgelly, a town just
below Merionth and it appears on the map to be in Merionethshire.

Correspondence 1/2/02 passengers #21-25 EDWARDS
Margaret Edwards, wife of Alexander, died shortly after reaching America. I
can only assume she was joining him in America, as I do not know the date of
his departure from Wales. He settled in Montgomery Township, Pennsylvania.
At a later date (unknown at this time) he remarried to Catherine Griffith
Morris. Alexander died in Montgomery Township in 1712. Still researching
his children. Connie Faulk
